A New Look, More British Goodies & A Little Christmas Cheer!
There's plenty to celebrate at Britwurst this autumn! After lots of planning, hard work and more than a few cups of coffee, I'm delighted to welcome you to the brand-new Britwurst website and online shop!
The new website has been designed to make shopping easier, quicker and more enjoyable. Whether you're looking for your favourite handmade sausages, stocking up on breakfast essentials or discovering something new, everything is now in one place. With easier navigation, more product categories and a much smoother shopping experience, I hope you'll enjoy exploring the new site as much as I've enjoyed putting it together.
More Than Just Sausages – A Taste of Britain!
While handmade British-style sausages will always be at the heart of Britwurst, I've been busy expanding the range with something rather special.
I'm delighted to introduce a growing selection of British food, snacks, sweets and speciality products, sourced from small, independent producers across the UK.
Rather than filling the shelves with the usual mass-produced brands, I've been seeking out smaller British businesses that share my passion for quality, great ingredients and, above all, fantastic flavour. Many of these are family-run or independent companies producing wonderful products that you wouldn't ordinarily find here in Austria.
From delicious speciality coffees and savoury snacks to traditional sweets, chocolates and other tempting treats, the aim is to bring you a little more of what makes British food so special.
It's also something I feel particularly strongly about. As a small independent business myself, I know just how much passion, hard work and dedication goes into creating something special. Being able to support other independent British producers while introducing their products to customers here in Austria is something I'm genuinely excited about.
And this is only the beginning! I'll be continuing to discover and introduce new products over the coming months, so it's well worth popping back regularly to see what's new.
Christmas Is Just Around the Corner!
It might seem a little early to mention Christmas, but it'll be here before we know it!
And with the expanded range, this Christmas promises to be a particularly exciting one at Britwurst.
I've been busy sourcing a lovely selection of festive British treats and Christmas goodies from independent UK producers, perfect for stocking fillers, little gifts or simply treating yourself over the festive season.
Expect everything from seasonal sweets and chocolates to delicious snacks and other festive surprises, with more products being added as Christmas approaches.
And of course, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without good food! All your Britwurst favourites will still be available, from proper British breakfast sausages and bacon to black pudding and our seasonal sausage specials — perfect for those lazy Christmas mornings, hearty winter breakfasts and festive gatherings.
The Same Britwurst, Just a Little Bigger!
Although the website has had a complete makeover and the product range is growing, one thing certainly hasn't changed: my commitment to quality, great flavours and good food.
Britwurst started with a simple idea — to bring proper British-style sausages to Austria, handmade using quality, locally sourced meat and traditional recipes. That philosophy remains exactly the same today.
The new shop is simply the next chapter in that journey. Alongside my own handmade products, I'm now able to showcase some of the wonderful food being produced by independent businesses back in Britain.
It's a combination I'm particularly proud of: handmade British-style sausages produced here in Austria, alongside carefully selected British products from independent producers in the UK.
