Thank you for shopping with Britwurst. This policy explains how we ship your order, what it costs, and what to expect after you buy.
Free local delivery
We offer free local delivery throughout Vienna and selected surrounding areas. This is generally on a Saturday and your order will be hand delivered by us. Minimum order values depend on your postcode. Enter your postcode in the cart to check availability and select an available delivery date.
Vienna — minimum order €69
Available to postcodes 1010, 1020, 1030, 1040, 1050, 1060, 1070, 1080, 1090, 1100, 1110, 1120, 1130, 1140, 1150, 1160, 1170, 1180, 1190, 1200, 1210, 1220 and 1230.
Surrounding areas — minimum order €99
Available to postcodes 2320, 2322, 2326, 2331, 2332, 2333, 2345, 2351, 2361, 2362, 2380 and 2481.
Klosterneuberg (3400) — minimum order €119
Free local delivery is available to addresses within postcode 3400 for orders of €119 or more.
Local delivery is not available below the minimum order value for your postcode. Available delivery dates are shown in the cart.
Free collection
Collection is free and has no minimum order. Collect from Britwurst HQ, Mona-Lisa-Steiner-Weg 3, 1120 Wien, Austria. Select Collection in the cart and choose an available collection date. I'll then be in touch to confirm a convenient collection time.
Shipping destinations
We currently ship within Austria only. Products marked for local delivery or collection only are not available for parcel shipping.
Shipping costs
Standard shipping within Austria costs €5.99 for orders below €89 and is free for orders of €89 or more.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
Standard shipping within Austria has an estimated transit time of 3–5 business days after dispatch. Available shipping methods and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and begin once your order ships. They may be affected by carrier delays, weather, or other events outside our control.
Products excluded from parcel shipping
Products marked for local delivery or collection only, including sausages, bacon, black pudding and Christmas meats, cannot be sent by parcel. Please check the delivery information on individual product pages.
If your cart contains these products, choose Collection or Local Delivery, subject to postcode availability and the relevant minimum order. To continue with Austria-wide parcel shipping, remove the products that cannot be posted from your cart.
Order Processing
Except as otherwise stated on our website, orders will be processed as soon as possible.
You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships, if the shipping method supports it.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, we'll email you a confirmation with a tracking number and link, if applicable. Please note tracking information may take time to update after you receive it.
Address accuracy
Please check your shipping address at checkout. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to correct it.
Lost, damaged, or delayed packages
If your order is lost, damaged, or delayed, contact us and we will help you work with the carrier.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Need to change or cancel your order? Contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to accommodate changes before your order ships, but once it's in transit we're unable to modify it. Refunds for cancelled or delayed orders will be processed promptly to the original payment method where possible.
