Highland Velvet is a smooth, balanced single-origin coffee from small, family-run farms in Chontalí, in Peru’s Jaén province of Cajamarca. Notes of cocoa butter, buttery fudge, red apple and carob syrup give this medium roast a mellow chocolatey character with a crisp finish.
Grown at 1,600–2,100 metres and processed using the washed method, it makes a well-rounded espresso or filter coffee.
